Nine months ago this website became self hosted. I decided to leave my cushy position in the warm, welcoming blogging incubator of WordPress and started my own journey. Yesterday, I reached my 3,000th subscriber!
I am bombarded by various digital marketing communications. One of them is stuck in my mind: how to reach your first 1,000 subscribers, and how hard that is…I never actually put any thought into this, it somehow happened, magically and quietly. But 3,000 – that’s a serious number. At least for a blogger like me, with a full-time job, two young kids, and far too many commitments in life for my liking. I’d love to dedicate more time to this site and give you more to read. Unfortunately, not quite possible at present, but I keep hoping. 🙂
